COLUMBUS, New Mexico — A fourth-generation rancher who once viewed the border wall project as a blessing now faces a nightmare after construction was stopped 1 mile before being finished, leaving a hole right in his backyard through which he fears immigrants will be funneled.

Biden doesn't care he wants all these illegal aliens and bogus asylum seekers in our country and our citizens be damned! Yet the pro-illegals claim that if we grant amnesty to those already here that the border will be secured in exchange? lol!

I saw that article. It was well written.
Biden is an empty suit.

Can the Rancher pay for the last mile himself?

I would think that would be pretty expensive. These are 30 ft. tall steel barrier walls. Too pricey for just one individual to have to cover the costs.

90 miles of fence with a 1 mile gap right behind someone's house. Can you imagine?

Can't blame the fence builders. Biden told them to stop working, so they did. That means the workers have been sent home, but I know darn good and well the company's lawyers are filing suit to complete the project.
That doesn't mean it will be completed, but it probably does mean the company will be paid.

Maybe there are people who would contribute to help?

There was a group that did just that but the wall still isn't completed. We have another 550 miles to go and it would have been completed if Trump had been re-elected.

You have to wonder why he and others do not sue to prevent Biden from ordering the construction to stop.

Virtually everything Trump did was met with lawsuits which slowed down his agenda tremendously.
Heck even Trump's EO's were challenged by the typical leftist groups, some trying to undoing Obama's EO's.
Yet DACA was allowed to stand despite it only being an EO.

So where are the moderate to conservative groups trying to keep Biden from overrunning the country with low skilled, uneducated, disease ridden illegal aliens, that can also be drug mules, criminals and even terrorists?

The cynic in me says it is probably more profitable to stop building and sue to get the money promised than continue building and hope to win in court.

Why is it his responsibility if it's the job of Daddy Government? Maybe our weak and ailing President should look into that. Also I'm sure if he did try to take it into his own hands, AOC would go on a rant about how he's racist.
