Named the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021, the bill was unveiled on Thursday by Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., and Rep. Linda Sánchez, D-Calif., and includes an eight-year pathway to citizenship for people in the country unlawfully who arrived by Jan. 1 of this year. It would lift hurdles for workers to legally immigrate to the U.S., add resources for border screening and replace the word "alien" with "noncitizen" in law.
Figures, two Hispanic congressmen wrote the bill. No ethnic bias there, right? If the word alien is being struck and replaced with non-citizen how do we determine who is a legal immigrant and who is not? Just another attempt by the left to blur the lines of those here legally in our country and those who are not. Who do the think they are kidding?
It's not reform anyway it's amnesty with rewarding these illegal invaders with our citizenship. How does this help the American worker? The rest of the lies and PC BS in the article just made me want to puke!
It is important to have released this after the election because American voters couldn't be trusted with the truth of Democrat policies.
Biden was promising amnesty before he was elected. Unfortunately, we are outnumbered by bleeding heart liberals and a growing Hispanic population who want amnesty and citizenship for these law breakers in spite of the jobs that were lost to them and their enormous social costs.

Lets call it what it really is - the "Mass Cheap Labor Act of 2021".
Good call. I've notified the mods to make sure this makes it to the appropriate place.
It's in the appropriate forum already since it's about legalizing "illegal" aliens and giving them a path to citizenship. Until or if that happens it's still about illegal aliens.

The fact that you honed in on the ethnicity of the reps who sponsored the bill speaks volumes about you.
No, it speaks volumes about THEM! Show me one Hispanic congressman that isn't for amnesty for illegal aliens most of whom are of the same ethnicity as they are. Look at the polls to. Most mainstream Hispanics want amnesty for the same reason. Those in this forum of the Hispanic persuasion or that have ethnic or personal ties to illegal aliens are amnesty advocates to. See a pattern?
