Considering we are fighting a "war on terror" and our soldiers are dying to protect America from these terrorists, why would any sane person still think it "OK" to allow illegals to cross our borders at epidemic proportions?

Why is it OK to send my brother Marines into harms way in Iraq but it's not OK to detain suspected illegals on our own soil without fear of some Al Sharpton, idiot liberal wannabe whinning about their civil rights?
Excuse me but Illegals are NOT protected by our Constitution, and Laws.. They are criminals who have unlawfully trespassed onto US soil, technically an act of war ..Since when do these criminal invaders have rights here?

Since when do non-American humans have rights, anyway? Look, I'm sorry God did not bless them with complete personhood, it's NOT MY FAULT, deal with it stupid illegals. I miss the days when we regarded them as equal to 1/4 of a deer carcass or less, depending upon the tastiness of the deer carcass meat and the usefulness of the deer hide for clothesmaking.
There is a HUGE difference between an "immigrant" and some COMMON CRIMINAL who blatantly disrespects our immigration laws as well as our Border Patrol Agents when they enter this country.
They further violate our laws when they steal IDs, refuse to register their vehicles and obtain insurance plus refuse and/or avoid paying taxes plus they feel comfortable draining the budgets of social services.
I suspect one big reason for unlimited illegal immigration and unenforced borders -- it makes recruiting to the military much easier. Americans are not going to be hired for construction and other jobs, and the illegals have brought the wages down to impossible levels. So what's left for hundreds of thousands of American kids? Military service.

They do have US Constitutional protection -- don't like it? Change the Constitution .
Remember this: if an illegal immigrant commits any additional crime beyond simply being here------the combined charges can likely become Felonies
