His buddies aren't going to be too happy with him but I'm glad he's speaking out against this and trying to help his constituents.

Smart move.

Also hope it's enough for him to convert to Republican.

Even with that background he can see the ramifications of our out of control illegal immigration Biden has caused.

Why bus them to Sanctuary cities when they should be put on a plane and sent back home.

Seriously. Take their name, give them a number and let them wait just like LEGAL Immigrants are forced to.

Why is this invasion of law breakers allowed to happen. Charter planes and Send them all Back.

There is one guy that could stop this today with a EO but his handlers want this. Meanwhile the Democrat Elected are trying to deal with the mobs that are coming when they should be demanding more from Biden.

If the upstream sewer treatment plant is leaking into the river, the answer is to go to the source and stop it but instead we are building water treatment plants to deal with the stink.

Yes, but even immigrants, particularly those who came here legally do not support this insanity. This president is the cause for this tidal wave of illegals coming over our border; he’s doing it out of vindictiveness towards his predecessor. To date, there could be easily, as many as 8 million illegals that have come over our southern border, that the U.S. tax payer has to now take care of.

Agreed, legal immigrants that don't have ethnic ties to these illegals probably don't support this invasion. However, the Hispanic/Latino culture is very tribal so their motives/opinions may be different.

"Despite the initial success of the new scheme, Biden has faced blistering criticisms from both sides of the political spectrum. Human rights groups and their Democrat allies argue the measures violate U.S. law and are little different from the Trump administration’s efforts to block all asylum seekers at the border. "

https://www.cfr.org/article/bidens-n...ight-just-work

"It has become cliché to say that the U.S. border is broken. But in the absence of congressional immigration reform, which appears more unlikely than ever, Biden’s new plans are the most serious effort yet to fix it. "

What do we as taxpayers pay for? Congress to do nothing?

President Donald Trump deployed thousands of National Guard and active-duty military personnel to help secure the border with Mexico and declared a national emergency that unlocked funding for the border wall.

President Joe Biden reversed some Trump-era policies but has kept a troop presence at the southern border as he tackles a record number of migrants.

" As of mid-2023, that number had already surpassed 1.6 million, with about a quarter of all migrants coming from the so-called Northern Triangle countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Other major countries of origin include Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. "

"Since May 2023, however, illegal crossings have unexpectedly dropped after the Biden administration lifted Title 42, an emergency public health order invoked by Trump that allowed border authorities to swiftly expel migrants. "

because its been so damn hot ! duh !

" Texas Governor Greg Abbott continues to implement a $4 billion border enforcement program, known as Operation Lone Star, has so far resulted in more than 371,000 apprehensions and over 27,000 criminal arrests. "

what are we as taxpayers paying Congress for?

"Biden’s own efforts to pass comprehensive immigration reform remain stalled in Congress, and some analysts say his administration’s four-year, $4 billion plan to address the drivers of Central American migration is not doing enough. "

Congress does nothing....
