You beat me to it! Yes, enforce the laws on the books. If Biden would have been enforcing immigration laws, we would not have the mess we have now, and it is HIS responsibility.
I hope to heck the Republicans blocked immigration REFORM, and continue to do so! It will destroy our economy and our way of life trying to support millions who came here, not like our ancestors who came with sleeves rolled up and hands ready to help build a county, but with hands out asking for the "American Dream" to be given to them, while complaining about the amenities they are being provided (many of those amenities better than we give our own citizens).
What were the Republican issues with that immigration reform? Did it include amnesty? Did it not deport enough people?
Simple. They had no real desire to reform it - because illegal immigration was and is one of the primary rallying "issues" of the MAGA movement. If they moved to fix the immigration system and make it functional, they would no longer have one of the best levers to manipulate their simple minded constituents.
MAGA politicians do not want to govern or to find solutions, they want to promote as much chaos as possible. Create a problem or set the stage to worsen it, and then claim that they need to be re-elected in order to fix it. Plenty of people in America dumb enough to fall for this.

We do not need "reform". We need, as NCN pointed out, the rules on the books enforced. Then, the border needs to be shut down. Then, we need to work on deporting MILLIONS of people.
You could not do, in any other country in the world, what millions of third worlders have done due to the incompetence of the Biden administration. You cannot just "enter" a country illegally. If you're willing to try, I'm willing to fly you to South Korea so you can enter North Korea.
It was mostly about amnesty and that isn't a solution is just encourages more illegals to come here. That was proven with the 1986 amnesty.
You are so right. Amnesty should never have happened and giving anything to people who come here illegally is against our constitution. It is called treason and carries a great punishment. When helping illegals you are aiding someone who is breaking our laws by invading our country. This should never should been allowed to happen.

What are you talking about? Trump and other Republicans tried to curb the problem via policy and even
built a physical barrier on the border but the Democrats have fought them all the way. The only thing the Democrats want is another massive amnesty and they call it reform which is BS! Biden refused to finish the wall which was 90% effective where it was already built.
Illegal immigration is a very serious problem so why shouldn't it be a rallying issue? The so-called MAGA's nor the Republicans created this problem it was the Democrats by refusing to end the incentives for illegals to come here and encouraging them instead. What Dumb Americans and what are they supposedly falling for? The dumb ones are those who are supporting Biden and the Democrats on this travesty.
