This concludes my reasoning on how someone can be racist for being anti-illegal. I simply do not understand this logic.
Haven't you ever heard the term 'coconut'? Brown on the outside, white on the inside? It's the favorite term for Hispanics who don't support illegal aliens. I'm sure it's been muttered at me more than once...

I met a 'brown' Latina a couple of years ago who flat unloaded on me against the illegal immigrant menace------I said: Whoa Nellie'
And what is sad is a large minority of 'Hispanics' are indeed 'White'------factoring in Argentina, Spain, etc. hence that coconut term by the MEChA types being a slur IMHO.
Yes, it seems that ANY minority that puts American citizens' interests over racial ones is accused of being 'white on the inside'.
A favorite tactic of the 'real' racists, I'm afraid...
Not really. Theres plenty of Latinos and even so called "pro-illegals" who acknowledge theres a problem. You don't be called a racist for being against illegal immigration. However, its very often when the line between being anti-illegal immigrant and anti-Mexican becomes blurred.
But nobody said being anti-illegal is racist.
You start crossing into coconut territory when one is so desperate to be mainstream and accepted, that they join in on bashing people of their ethnicity to distance themselves from the stereotypes.

I don't understand what you're trying to say. How are these Hispanic-Americans "racist" ? And what do the terms "coconut" and "twinkie" have to do with this debate? This has nothing to do with being Hispanic or being white; it has to do with illegal immigration.

I think he means thats being anti-illegal doesnt mean being racist. The sentence was worded kind of akwardly.

Yeah, based on your 'vendido' comment I'm sure that 'coconut' is high on your list of adjectives for me.
Guess what? I don't give a rip what you think of me, and to be frank your approval isn't on my 'needs' list. I'm an equal-opportunity basher, and race-based hustlers like David Duke, Jesse Jackson and Janet Murguia all get my disrespect. IA apologists like yourself who feel that ethnicity is more important than citizenship rank especially low on my list.
You need to stay in the barrio, amigo, and keep making excuses for your gun-toting cholos. I know, it's all Whitey's fault, keep singing that song, somebody's bound to give you a listen sooner or later.
