Traffickers used I-35 buses to get drugs to Dallas, court papers show | Dallas Morning News | News for Dallas, Texas | Breaking News for Dallas-Fort Worth | Dallas Morning News (http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/localnews/stories/DN-zetas_11met.ART0.State.Edition1.4dd219f.html - broken link)
"..these men are responsible for well over a half-billion dollars worth of narcotics moving up I-35.
"You have to ask, how much is destined for Dallas?" said Dallas police Deputy Chief Julian Bernal, who oversees the narcotics unit. "If you look at the proximity of Dallas to other large areas, we're a hub. The numbers don't surprise me in the least."
Mr. Castillo and Mr. Rodriguez both face up to life in prison and more than $4 million in fines.
Five other men also have pleaded guilty in the case: Roberto Camacho, 22, Arturo Palencia, 21, Gustavo Fabian Chapa, 22, and Rene "Rana" Garcia, 29, all of Laredo; and Eduardo "Negro" Carreon-Ibarra, 24, of Nuevo Laredo. Some of them admitted taking part in murders and attempted murders in South Texas..."

There is sure some big corruption on the border where those buses came over. You'd think there'd be some kind of inspection of the big buses and trucks coming from Mexico -- but the narco cartels have paid someone off very well.

I know some people who have also had trouble with these companies setting up bus stations in their neighborhoods -- code enforcement, city, police and apparently federal transportation officials are too afraid to be called racist to do anything. 17 people died on a similar bus company which was operating illegally - no license (Iguala Mexibus which blew an illegally used retread tire in Sherman Texas last week).

lol I know enough Mexican Americans who have told me the same .
One was fairly high brass in Mexicos military though retired 10 yrs ago but still knows whats going on that I can say your 100% correct.
People here dont want to see this there is a sense that America's clean cut , articulate politicians,DAs,etc are above million dollars plus deposited directly in their over seas safe deposit box .
All they have to do is simply look away turn a blind eye no need to actually assist simply look away and let things happen.

Yes -- when it comes to drugs, there is corruption on both sides of the border or there's no way those semi-trailers of drugs would be coming over so often and easily.

I think we all know that we have graft and such in our country and it seems as though our government just doesn't care as long as they can line their pockets with the gold. Look at what this country did to two fine BP agents for doing their jobs.
