There are different ways in which a woman can tell a man “no means no.”
This morning in East Stroudsburg, a 21-year-old woman did so by leaving the indentation of her shoe heel on the face of Obispo Lopez-Diaz, 22, of Morristown, N.J., after he tried making unwanted advances on her, police said.
At about 1:40 a.m., police arrived at the Exxon gas station on Prospect Street to investigate a report of an indecent assault.
The woman told police she was walking home on Greentree Drive when she was approached by Lopez-Diaz, whom she didn’t know. She said he tried to put his arms around her and make other unwanted advances and that she broke away from him and ran.
She said Lopez-Diaz chased and caught up to her and tried to kiss her and pulled her shirt down. She said she hit him in the face with her shoe, again broke away and ran to the gas station to call police. Lopez-Diaz also was at the gas station when police arrived.
Police saw “an indentation on his face consistent with being struck with the heel of a shoe.” He was charged with indecent assault, stalking, simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness.
Police said they learned Lopez-Diaz is not a citizen and does not have a work visa. U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Services will be asked to assist in determining if he is in the country legally.
This is the immigration forum not exclusively the illegal immigration forum.
Not only that but he is not a citizen, does not have a work visa and they are determining if he is in the country legally-sounds like there is a real good chance he is here illegally.

Seems to me that whether he's here legally or not is not the point of the story. It's about assault. Perhaps it belongs in the controversies forum.
Ahem: Police said they learned Lopez-Diaz is not a citizen and does not have a work visa.
