Court Threatens To Sue Judicial Watch | Judicial Watch
"Court Threatens To Sue Judicial Watch"
Fri, 11/07/2008 - 17:45 — Judicial Watch Blog
The Arizona Supreme Court has threatened to sue Judicial Watch for revealing that its chief justice agreed to enforce a Hispanic Bar Association demand to ban the terms “illegal” and “aliens” in all of the state’s courtrooms.
A Corruption Chronicles item posted Thursday linked a lengthy letter from the president of Arizona’s Hispanic Bar Association to Supreme Court Chief Justice Ruth McGregor requesting that the terms not be used because they are inflammatory and create perceptions of judicial bias.
The piece also links Chief Justice McGregor’s letter responding to the group’s request and essentially agreeing to the demands by “asking that our judges and employees refrain from using certain derogatory terms in court documents and proceedings.”
In a threatening phone call to Judicial Watch today, a spokesperson for Arizona’s Supreme Court denied that Chief Justice McGregor had banned anything and accused Judicial Watch of "slander." Judicial Watch, however, stands by its story.

Well, it'll be interesting to see how this shakes out. I'm inclined to believe Judicial Watch. What do they have to gain from making up such a story I wonder?

Methinks the pro illegals are truly becoming desperate?
What does concern me is that putative 'Hispanic Bar Association' is starting to edge close to treason IMHO--------by supporting criminals over law abiding Americans.

There's no doubt that they're affiliated with LaRaza.

If you keep using that word, "illegal," sooner or later someone is going to wonder why illegality is continually tolerated. Stop calling them illegals, and it's much easier to have them around.

I certainly do not those lawbreakers around---------especially being that most adult illegal immigrants are Felons when factoring in ID theft, etc.

The only problem is, next it will be a crime to use the world "criminal" when referring to our foreign interlopers. After all, we wouldn't want to even give the appearance of disparaging these misunderstood job seekers.

If we stop referring to those who steal as being thieves, will it be easier to have them around too? Perhaps we can simply call them unauthorized property recipients, and then everyone will be more tolerant.

Frivolous.
Alien is defined at both Federal and State levels (i.e., Arizona State Constitution)
Contact the Arizona Bar Association, and American Bar Association, alerting them of this absurdity, and copy the letter to the Governor, to remove the license of those involved from practicing law in the State of Arizona, on the grounds of attempting to usurp the Constitution of the State of Arizona, and Federal Law.
