YADKIN COUNTY – Federal, state, and local authorities said they'll use the $401,880 they seized from 36-year-old Alejandro Alvardo in a drug bust to continue the war on drugs.

Investigators said Alvardo is an illegal immigrant and leader of a drug operation based in Mexico.

Now authorities said they’ll split the money because of the teamwork that helped crack the case.

Now that's what I call justice
I wish the assets of every single illegal alien were seized and used to combat further illegal incursions across our borders. If nothing else we know that they are greedy and selfish. Seizing whatever they obtain while in the US illegally would deter many of them.

Yes they seize drug money and assets. But its rare that they go after the assets of illegals when they deport them. It should be automatic. Anything gained while here illegally should be forfeit.
