Home mortgage relief for millions of illegals

"Illegal aliens can apply for mortgage relief under the Obama administration's $275 billion plan..."

Just when you thought it could not possibly get more insane.

Well -- the cost of living in this country is obviously far too high for most illegals who come for the welfare handouts or to take the lowest paying jobs. If they can't make it in Mexico with it's much lower cost of living, it's obvious they need tons of taxpayer support to live here. Especially California where houses cost so much.

If we did border China it would be just as bad as there are as many millions of people living in squalor as there are in Mexico.

When will the American people wake up & put a stop to this bulls-it . Obama, Reid, Pelosi all want to ruin the country & the politicans will let them do it. Commies abound in D.C. folks. Who will they bail out next? How about the Mexican drug cartels?

Is there no end to the pandering? Illegal aliens have the option of providing an ITIN or a Matricula Consular card from Mexico as identification for a home mortgage loan. Funny, the article didn’t mention the options for other illegal aliens. After all, not all illegal aliens are from Mexico.

Also, notice there is no mention of illegals being required to provide tax returns, verifiable employment, and a good credit record. And pro-illegals argue that illegal aliens are not a factor in our foreclosure crisis.

Quote:
Steven Camarota, director of research at the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington, D.C., told WND approximately 1 million households headed by illegal immigrants acquired mortgages through the beginning of 2007, before the housing bubble burst.

"There is no legal prohibition against illegal immigrants owning homes," he said, "and in most cases mortgage lenders will accept a taxpayer ID or a Matricula Consular card issued by a Mexican Consulate office as identification to illegal immigrants from Mexico."

Why are you so surprised?

One of the dirty little secrets in this crisis that no one is talking about is how many of those No-Doc/Liar/NINJA loans in CA & AZ went to illegals. An illegal with a house that is $200k underwater has no incentive to ride things out. They just disappear and go start up again somewhere else.
