It’s ok for illegal aliens to violate our laws by entering our country illegally, and the myriad laws they break thereafter; but heaven forbid we should apprehend and detain them for those violations. No, that is considered a violation of their human rights.

Quote:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The detention of hundreds of thousands of immigrants every year in the United States represents a violation of human rights, Amnesty International USA said in a report on Wednesday.

"America should be outraged by the scale of human rights abuses occurring within its own borders," said Larry Cox, director of Amnesty International USA.

"No one comes close to detaining the amount of people that the United States does," she said. "I don't know of another country that detains hundreds of thousands of people as a normal policy every year."

If detention is a violation of our human rights, then all prisons should be shut down and the criminals should be set free. Oh, and let's not forget the millions of pain and suffering lawsuits that must be filed immediately!

We put people who break the law in detention centers. There they stay until they have served their time, and then they go home. They are fed, provided a bed, toilet, and bathing area. Some recreation is even provided. If these are the general conditions of illegal alien detention centers, I see nothing wrong.

As their name implies, this a group bent on the idea of "amnesty" for illegals. Anything that stands in the way of their agenda will be branded wrong by any means necessary. Also, our media is more than happy to gobble up stories like this. Our government's agenda in no way involves ever sending these illegals home, and they would love to bring amnesty home to the masses. The only thing in the way is the outraged US citizen. Constant media coverage is granted to organizations like this in order to try and change the views of the populace. Luckily, this is one time the people aren't backing down.

We will not swallow amnesty, and fully support the work of our immigration officers who are actually out there trying to enforce the law. Even while our own government works against them.

This is the absolute truth!
