As a lifelong Massachusetts resident, I abandoned the Democrat party in the state precisely because of liberal ideas like this by the politicians here. I hope the people in Framingham will fight to prevent this to the bitter end.

Are you sure you are not discussing Republicans? The illegal alien problem really started rearing its ugly head and reached its climax (May 2006) when the White House and both Houses of Congress were controlled by the GOP.

No, I'm pretty sure I'm talking about the CURRENT new left hispandering Democratic politicians and what's going on TODAY. What the GOP did in 2006 has little bearing today because the GOP sees the handwriting on the wall. If the hispandering amnesty Democratic politicians are successful in engineering an amnesty the GOP is done for at least a decade or so. That's why the GOP is now fighting illegal immigration and the amnesty Democrats are fighting the GOP fighting illegal immigration.
This is the moonbat state of Massachusetts. Only here could some pol propose this and believe that there would not be a serious backlash. Framingham MA is full of illegal aliens, mostly Brazilian. If the govt wanted to crack down, they could find illegals there any time of the day.
