Many of the dirtiest nastiest work is currently done by illegal workers. I think it is only a matter of time before they all become Legal immigrants or LONG TERM Guest Workers. I suspect that President Bush and the Democrats will pass an Amnesty Bill this summer.
Right now many of the current Illegal Aliens are using false ID or working for cash so they can get a job, any job, to pay for living expenses. Many of these people are desparate and will do just about anything to make money. One of the reasons they are so desperate is they are here illegally and can not pick and chose when it comes to work. If they sudenly all become Legal workers-- their desire to work at places like Meat Packing Plants or in "The fields" will be gone. They will attempt to get better jobs at Fast Food or retail. Sure their new jobs will not be great but they will no longer be so easy to work with and may get a little cocky. Who will do the dirty jobs after Amnesty?

They are already doing the jobs you say they will be doing...Did you see the Swift Co. raids ? The pallet maker Co. that was raided...The leather good Co. that was raided.....

We just have to eliminate those "dirty jobs" by automation. Personally I would like to eliminate much of Congress and the president too by replacing them with qualified people. One can dream for sure.

The problem isn't the illegality aspect of immigration, in as much as the people coming here illegally for the most part are of a Third World culture. It is these Third Worlders and their manner of thinking which is hurting our nation and gradually transforming it for the worse.

Oh those jobs are for those of us who want to work, lived here legally all our lives, live an honest life with a good work ethnic, those jobs will become ours, watch and see. VOTE FOR RON PAUL OR WORK AT MCDONALDS ONE DAY FOR MIN WAGE!

Dont know but I think that there are still PLENTY more of illegals from Mexico that will come here. Government and business dont think about the well being of the country for the long haul, all they care about is their time as CEO or time in office, if they have their adgenda covered for that time, they dont care about the future.
