Ok folks, now we have 11 million illegal aliens, not 12-20+ million. Did I miss the breaking news of mass illegal alien deportations?
It seems she and Obama realize there is a growing tide of opposition to any form of amnesty. The recent May Day Mexican-flag-waving fiasco only added fuel to the fire.
Quote:
At the Senate Judiciary Committee’s oversight hearing this morning, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano carefully skirted repeated questions about her views of whether longtime undocumented immigrants living in the United States ought to get a chance at legalization.
Sen. Pat Leahy (D-Vt.), the Judiciary Committee chairman, presented a more sympathetic case for legalizing undocumented immigrants now “living in the shadows” and tried to elicit Napolitano’s support. She wasn’t biting. The secretary refused to say she supports legalization, saying only, in response to Leahy’s question about whether it makes sense to try to deport 11 million people, that “the sheer logistics of doing that are overwhelming.”

If Arizona is any indication: that '11 million' number may still be too high--------especially about Mexico alone whining about being flooded with over 1 milion of its citizens returning home from the USA.

Good assumption but completely wrong, they left off the left wing and right wing ✓ boxes on the amnesty papers so they're stalling for time. They have to wait closer to election time in case crime increases or a mass exodus happens. The only way they'll give up amnesty is if it pisses off more than the 12-20 million illegals here, itll be almost 100% guaranteed votes for any president that passes it for those illegals. All depends on the size of the backlash.

Yes. Absolutely right on. The corrupt career Democratic politicians aren't about to give up on engineering a permanent Democratic majority in Congress with a new overwhelmingy Democratic voter bloc of amnestied illegal aliens, unless the American sheeple show that they are overwhelming against amnesty and that these career Democratic politicians would suffer greatly at the ballot box because of it.

The odds of said backlash are growing.
Remember the Civil Rights Movement of two generations ago?
We may have a similar level of unrest---------with public outrage against illegal aliens and their enablers in effect forcing out the former by the millions.
The big difference was that American Blacks had/ have the right to live here in the USA due in part to their ancestors being brought here against their will (slavery)----------flip side illegal aliens came here by free choice.

Put Illinois on that list, specifically the IA sanctuary formerly known as Chicago. The gangs are killing one another and there are 225 confirmed cases of swine flu. According to the video the family moved to Chicago from California and this poor child was set up by his girlfriend. (see link for details) That neighborhood is only one of many filled with gang banging illegal aliens.

Chicago teen shot, burned to death
Police say Arellano has no criminal record and was not in a gang, but it appears he was targeted somehow.
Neighbors say the attacked happened around 1 a.m. Saturday between two houses. One woman who feared retaliation from gang members told ABC7 Chicago she heard the commotion and called 9-1-1.
A translator said: "She says she didn't know if it was a doll or a body. She just saw the body, and she just called police right away."

No, Cali is in the tank. No work there.
They all flooded to the sanctuary cities of Texas and Southern Louisiana.
