this thread/poll makes no sense. unless JDM and those others really think that the hispanic US pop gets an F in assimilation. if so. explain please...
aggreed somebody should of taught the OP his ABC's, He wrote them backwards from F to A. I think JDM used to be a teacher, so I guess she'll have her hands full.
I'm against illegal aliens - but I have plenty of Hispanic friends who were born here and are as All-American as they come. Some don't know Spanish because their parents would not let it be spoken in their home. I have one friend who could not talk to his grandmother, which was rather sad.

I would give them an "A" because they are extremely assimilated into American society. Most Polish Americans for example are not even fluent in the language of their ancestors anymore. Irish Americans and Polish Americans are as American as apple pie.

good luck trying to convince these people, youd have better luck convincing a mule, If you speak another language they automatically give you the Illegal alien flag.

Sad indeed. I think parents who speak Spanish and do not teach their kids to speak Spanish as well, are doing a great disservice to their kids, and depriving them of an important advantage.

Polish-A, Irish-A+, Asian-A. The reason that poverty stricken, non English speaking, uneducated illegal Mexican peasants don't assimilate is because they don't have to. They cluster together in illegal infestations of their own kind who also only speak bastardized Spanish. I don't want them to assimilate. I want them all deported posthaste or to be forced to leave of their own accord.
