I can't vouch for the integrity of the source, but it looks like the battle is about to begin.........again.
I still think it is going to be a tough sell, and could lead to trouble for the pols that come out in favor of this travesty, especially in todays economic climate.

The leader has acknowledged that not all 59 Democratic senators may back a comprehensive reform bill. Losing 10 or 12 votes from his own ranks, he added, “would leave us at 48. But I am sure that we will find 12 Republicans. I have no doubts this will be the case.”
That is what he and even Bush thought last time. They don't have the votes when the elctorate chiomes in and the party leadership can't control votes by poressure;plain and simple. look at the last vote when democrats were in charge;not even close. In fact illegal opposition is not just growing in teh uSA but in most western countries.

The problem is the Senate...CIR only needs 218 votes to pass the house even with some dems voting against CIR still have good chances, since there are a total of 233 dems in the house.
ANY senator or representative who votes for this amnesty bill does so at the risk of their office at the next election.
That article stated 11 million undocumented workers. If that passes and those workers and their families become citizens you can pretty much guarantee the ruling party in Washington will remain Democratic for a long long time.
Those in power want to stay in power. This is but another way to do it.
The economy won't be back to where is was by the time elections roll around. This is the perfect opportunity for those in power to practically guarantee their re-election just by passing something like this. You will get all these "new voters" who will gladly keep in office those that gave them citzenship.
