ICE Raid Net 37 Possible Deportations

RENO - A total of 37 foreign nationals with ties to violent street gangs area are facing deportation following a three-day operation led by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The arrests were made as part of an ongoing initiative by ICE’s National Gang Unit called “Operation Community Shield”

All of those taken into custody during the operation were arrested on administrative immigration violations and will be placed in deportation proceedings. They will be held in ICE custody and scheduled for a hearing before an immigration judge.

I hope that they're deported to the southern most parts of their homelands.

A hearing before a Immigration judge is a joke.

Maybe a sentence of a few days and a fine (where are they going to get the dollars?.

Deportation and then the turn cycle returns them back in no time at all.

So where are the benifits of the deportation.

Maybe a caning would solve the problem before the deportation thus being a deterent hopefully.

If it were me...I sure as heck would not want it done to me again.

Singapore uses the caning as a punishment with positive results.
