Earlier I responded to another forumer about how I felt that this illegal immigration issue on the side of antis was more expensive to American citizens.

The following is an article on Freemont City ordinances and how the city officials are reluctant to passing such measures. One of the official states that he is pro-legal immigration not illegal immigration. However, it would do more damage to pass these ordinances because it would "land the city on long and extensive court battles".

Immigration issue continues to simmer in Fremont - News - Local - The Fremont Tribune - Fremont, Nebraska's Community Newspaper (http://www.fremonttribune.com/articles/2009/07/27/news/local/doc4a6a918e0709e808049690.txt?orss=1 - broken link)

Anyway, at the end of this article there are several people posting in response. Please check out Dodge County Iron Fist. He has already experienced this phenomenon in his area. Look at his post.

IMHO...(again, just my opinion)...While other countries are corrupt by not enforcing the written law, this country is good about corrupting through written law. It is catching up to us and I can see that these ordinances would eventually lead to numerous court battles from both sides as has been the history in other cities across the country. This is the reason why, I think, our government is trying to stop the ordinances. We are going through a serious economic crisis and it is so hard for people to see it.

It is sad that in a country as rich as ours, people resort to lawsuits as if they were JACK POTS! Over 15 million lawsuits are expected this year alone. That means one lawsuit every two seconds.

Reduce the large number of lawsuits

What is your take?

If we don't acknowledge it, it is not there, syndrome.

It is no longer about right and wrong, it is about the cash.
Is that what your saying?
