Payaso, quit "clowning" around.....this maritime disaster occurred nowhere NEAR the border! (But it DOES point out the need for bilingual 'abandon ship' drills, and the need for legible labeling on life-jackets)...

Being a one-time merchant seaman myself..(plus a graduate of the US Navy), I can't help but wonder..how far did this accident occur from 'the nearest inhabitable land'?....and in what was the compass bearing, toward that land?

I hope everyone managed to get rescued....and didn't spill their margaritas.

Hopefully, they at least had time to send out an SOS so the survivors could be rescued before they froze to death.

Do you suppose the band, with no regard for their own safety, bravely stood by and continued playing "el Rancho Grande", as the panicked passengers debarked, in an effort to avert a wholesale stampede toward the lifeboats?
