TIJUANA, Mexico - Police in the Mexican border city of Tijuana say they have arrested six men for stealing pieces of the U.S. border fence to sell as scrap metal.
Holes in the border fence once were more commonly made by migrant smugglers, but fewer people are trying to cross because of a weak U.S. economy and a crackdown on immigration.
Wire you taking a fence? The above barb penned just shows that no one is barred from digging a hole with their post here at C-D, an electrifying idea.
Just tossing in a few barbs.....no a fence intended. A very wise man once said, "When you fence others OUT....you're also fencing yourself IN"....and, of course, you can't expect those on the other side to be willing to split the cost.
I suppose this means that illegals, who in the past have been derided as 'mojados' or 'alambristas' will now be known as 'cercadores'..????
When you lock a man out, you shouldn't be surprised if he 'takes a fence'....even if it's one section at a time...
It's a barrier meant to slow people down. A canal with a vertical wall would have been a better choice.
go ahead dig a moat in put gators in it
