They do not have to pose as legal residents. They already get millions in benefits in spite of their illegal status.

They go to the frickin emergency room for everything. Who are you trying to fool? Of coarse they are not going to file for assistance. They have free care right at the hospital.

If a person has no immigration documents or is a more recent immigrant, s/he may only be eligible for emergency services, family planning, prenatal, and childbirth services, or certain other limited services."

Yes they are. That is part of our federal law that requires "stabilizing".
Not an ongoing condition. It ends when the baby is born. The child, who IS a US citizen, can get healthcare.
It most certainly doesn’t “end” when the baby is born. It’s the beginning of years of sucking at the U.S. taxpayers’ teat. The baby is the key to receiving ALL benefits reserved for citizens, which is precisely why most illegals have at least one child born on U.S. soil. Without their meal tickets, they would not ‘legally’ qualify for WIC, welfare, subsidized housing, or myriad other freebies illegals enjoy. It’s a despicable practice that devalues human life as well as U.S. citizenship. It’s parasitic behavior, period.
