A group of illegal immigrants recently spared deportation by a sympathetic Connecticut judge are suing the federal agents that arrested them, claiming their constitutional rights were violated in the raids that led to their apprehension.
In August a federal judge (Michael Straus) in Connecticut blocked the deportation of four of the illegal aliens, ruling that their constitutional rights were “egregiously violated” because immigration agents entered their apartments without a warrant, probable cause or consent. Besides terminating removal proceedings, the judge suppressed any evidence gathered by federal agents because the illegal aliens’ constitutional protections to due process were violated.
Evidently emboldened by the ruling, the illegal immigrants are now suing the agents who conducted the raids, their supervisors and senior ICE officials.
well then whatever money they get (im sure the lawyer is the one with the big collection plate) they can make a life for themselves in what ever country they are from.
they are still here illegally, right?

These illegal aliens do not have "constitutional rights" They are not citizens of this country. Our constitution is just that, ours. Unless you are a citizen of this country, it does not apply to you. The judge that failed to deport these illegals should be brought up on charges. He has willfully assisted a criminal while sitting in a most honorable seat of justice. I don't give a damn who he is, or how long he has been a judge, he turned his back on the constitution, America, and our laws by allowing illegal invaders to stay here in our country. Why do we keep letting these people get away with these blatant acts of treason? When will the citizens finally say enough is enough and start the process of taking back our country and treating supporters of illegals the same way we should be treating the illegals. Like criminals. Because they are. As are every one of our government officials, local and national, who continue to support the rights of people who are living as criminals in our country. This has to end people, and not with amnesty.

I agree. The lawsuit part is very upsetting. Equally as upsetting as the border watcher's law suit to California, Department of Transportation. I have no problem with them fighting deportation due to "no warrant" show. I have a problem with the lawsuit and if they are getting money from the lawsuit.
To those of you who think these people are not covered by the US Constitution, unfortunately they are. Under our US Constitution, the first 10 ammendments, AKA "Bill of Rights" apply to anyone on US soil regardless of legal status. Everything else, only applies to US citizens. The warrant does apply to illegal immigrants as well.
