Surprise, Surprise. . .

Quote:
Vulnerable House and Senate Democrats want their leaders to skip the party’s controversial legislative agenda for next year to help save their seats in Congress.

In the run-up to the 2010 midterm elections, they don’t want to be forced to vote on climate change, immigration reform and gays in the military, which they say should be set aside so Congress can focus on jobs and the economy.

Sen. Charles Schumer (N.Y.), vice chairman of the Senate Democratic Conference, still wants to take up immigration reform next year. He told reporters Tuesday that it is still on the agenda for the 111th Congress. (Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has called immigration reform his No. 3 priority after healthcare reform and global climate change legislation.)

One Democratic senator facing reelection in a Republican-leaning state said he does not want to see the issue of gays in the military, immigration reform or even climate change on next year’s agenda.

There are no really important issues to these clowns.....they are only interested in running for re-election.
Schumer and Reid keep recycling the same BS, with the exception that Reid has moved Amnesty behind the global warming charade.

At least there won't be a food shortage for the pro amnesty folks, they will have plenty of carrots again next year...

Looks like a pattern to me....

There is only on solution to this mess. If they don't deliver....throw them out, both Dims and Repugs. !

Yes, corruption and pandering abound. They are worthless, and we need to send them a resounding message.

I think they will not only eat carrots, but perhaps a dish of crow as well.

I hope people won't fall for flip-flops and distractions, and vote these politicians in again. They'll try to put off controversial topics until they get reelected, then they'll be back on board trying to ram through amnesty, and other unpopular items.
