EL PASO, Texas -- Legislation introduced in Congress Wednesday attempts to pass the bill for illegal immigrants' health care to their country of origin.
Rep. Zack Space, D-Ohio, introduced the bill saying it will save the U.S. billions in health care costs for illegal immigrants. The bill calls for deducting the cost of illegal immigrants' health care from the foreign aid their home countries would normally receive from the U.S.
Great plan. Why give a country "aid" when they aren't using it to improve conditions so we end up paying the price for all their problems. These people are the responsibility of their own countries and governments, they should pay for them.
It's a win-win because health care costs are extremely high here so these countries should end up not only failing to receive any aid but should end up paying us beyond that amount.
"I don't think I agree with what he's saying," said Yvette Sanchez, of west El Paso. "Because regardless of whether they're illegal or not, they're human beings. They need medical attention."
that's a quote from within that story.
this attitude kills me. yes they should recieve medical attention, BUT NOT WITH MY TAX DOLLARS DAMN IT!
I read up on Zack Space, and he seems to be one of the "good guys", but there are so many politicians in DC that are members of the Open Borders/Business lobby, that I don't see much chance of this bill passing...Someone tried to add citizenship status on the current health care bill, and it was rejected by the Dems....
Now, if a lot of those sleazebags are voted out during mid-terms....well we will see....
I know with my business, when cash flow is short, I don't donate anything to charity.
I have to think of myself and my business, to survive.
We continue to send aid, because we have to maintain the image of the world’s benevolent superpower. Mind you, our own citizens are needy and homeless. You’re absolutely right. We no longer have the funds to be the ATM for the impoverished of the world.
