A person still has to earn a living. What better way to earn a living then to be able to express one's political or other views and get paid for doing so.
And I'm sure he will use his radio show for that purpose.

Good for John King, I always felt like the network kind of overworked him during the elections. I had a feeling he was getting his own show, and I like him better than most hosts there, actually I don't like most of their hosts except for Wolf(Sanchez being the worst, a pest from South Florida). King has been very professional and impartial so far. Well, Luis Dominguez, committing identity theft to become a Lou Dobbs poser and look a like, certainly behaved in typical illegal alien fashion by pulling a knife, swearing in spanish and spitting as he was apprehended. Luis had collected welfare and every other freeby for 5 decades, been to the ER countless times managing to stiff the hospital every time, and spawned 17 anchors which had completely overwhelmed the NJ school system, although none of Luis' anchors actually graduaded. Authorities are still trying to count the hundreds of anchor spawn of Luis' 13 illegal siblings. Some of Luis' usual illegal alien jobs: car thievery, drug dealing, migrant labor, and of course, landscaping, carpet laying, and roofing, Luis quit that job after falling off of a roof. Upon being put on the deportation cattle boat bound for southern Mexico, Luis was heard shouting "keeess myyy aaazzz".

His ratings were in deed declining. What Mach is saying is that if he trully worked for what he believed, his salary will not matter to him and will consider going into non-profit. Afterall, he considers himself to be an advocacy journalist.

This was only the 2nd time in 2009 the network finished 5th, with the first time coming in March. Dobbs’ 7pmET hour finished 4th in the demo and 3rd in total viewers.
