More in line with the topic of discussion, it is indicative of the reality that there are reasons that we have laws in this country and a reality that unchecked illegal aliens bring with them and spread diseases that were once eradicated in the US.

Uh, that is one of the reason that immigrants must come legally. They receive the necessary healthchecks to protect Americans from desease. It would not be outrageous to expect that some of these illegals do carry infectious deseases especially since many come from squalid conditons.
