And what about your ancestors?? Where they come from?
My ancestors arrived legally in the US by ship, around a century ago. My wife's ancestors walked here, from Asia, about 40.000 years ago. We were both born in the US, and thus are American citizens. The ancestors of illegal immigrants were NOT born in the US. For this reason, their descendants (the illegals) are NOT American citizens.
ALL of our ancestors.....mine, my wife's, the illegals'....(and, I presume yours)....are dead now. And some of us, today, are U.S. citizens, and some of us are not. Those who are NOT, can apply to become so, legally. But illegal entry does not make one a 'citizen'. He may be a fine person, and a nice guy...but he's not an American citizen, and has no claim on the benefits of that position.
The reason I made his thread is because, looking ahead, if something isn't done, the amount of welfare dead-weights will eventually overwhelm us and drive us into bankruptcy. Is that something we really want?
I say drive them all out. I would welcome the first chance I got. I love to make Houston an American city again.

The US economy has collapsed, unemployment is 30%, and the government is falling apart. In desperation, the army seizes power, suspends the constitution, and dismisses the government. The new ruler declares as one of his first acts to fix the crisis, to make all illegal aliens enemies of the state. Futhermore, he retroactively strips citizenship from all descendants of illegals, and their children as well, and authorizes anyone to arrest and/or kill them should they be discovered.
If finally given the opportunity, would you yourself use force to finally drive the invaders and their spawn out of our land for good?
I would send my family overseas or across the border for their safety, and then take up arms against the illegitimate dictator who had seized control of my homeland. I would fight until dead or until the constitution and system of government created by the founding fathers was restored. It would be every patriotic American's duty to do the same thing.
Naturally I would ignore any edicts from the illegitimate dictator.

What's funny is Conservative Right Wing good ole boys vote for politicians who send their jobs to China and India so that executives can maintain their 6 figure and million dollar incomes. Basically, the guys who are taking your jobs are the ones you are voting into office. George Bush didn't care that our coutry outsourced jobs to foreign countries and instead praised those efforts.
It's just further proof that Americans vote with their hearts and not their minds. It's all about image. You like the good ole boy rancher from Midland, TX so he can do no wrong in your eyes

I have a better idea: how about armed US military personnel with authority to use their weapons if someone crossing the Rio Grande refuses to stop when ordered to do so.
