I'm posting this comment from another as I think this speaker says what I hold true. E-Verify is a passive yet reliable program to help end illegal aliens from taking any more of our American jobs. When businesses refuse to acclimate E-Verify one needs to ask, why? We all know the answer as well as why it continues to be rejected by our lawmakers. Things are changing with the growing sentiment of this country. Knowledge is power.

In addition the 287 (g) federal program that has not been established by every state, county or city police department.
This program also-MUST--be established and paid for by the government to train local police to apprehend illegal foreign nationals. The rescinded NO-MATCH-LETTER, that identifies discrepancies in cross-references a possible bogus name that doesn't correspond with a Social Security number. The No Match letter must be resurrected, including Homeland Security Secretary Napolitiano who compromised, under handily slowed ICE audits and raids on businesses using illegal aliens. Our government has even been reckless in underfunding the Southern border fence, that as stated in The Secure Fence Act (Pub.L. 109-367) was enacted October 26, 2006 was meant to be constructed in as a two tier fence. Each one of these laws have been silently either underfunded or secretly smothered, so it became weak in enforcement. Congressman Kenny Marchant (TX-24) has authored a new law to reveal fraudulent mortgages, using E-Verify. His bill would curb mortgage abuses and protect the taxpayers.” But E-Verify has many universal innovations that would compliment illegal worker recognition, to uncover fraudulent drivers licenses, vehicle registration, even for those who illegally applying for welfare. Were you aware that Bush set up a Social Security totalization treaty with Mexico, with loopholes so illegal aliens could access billions of dollars? Are you also aware that massive numbers of tourists and students have for decades were never expected to leave our shores?

So you are saying that hiring illegal aliens is ok and we should? Or are you saying that ensuring legal immigrants and Americans get jobs is wrong? both? How do you come up with this analogy? Without political rhetoric, tell me how E-Verify cripples this nation. Or is it because businesses that have depended upon illegal practices will no longer be able to do so in this country. If they could not have afforded it, they shouldn't be in the business. Let them collapse, let Americans go back to basics, it was a nice era then. E-verify is going to have to be run and paid by the States, States are writting laws now and the Federal government is not going to fund a State mandated law.
the Federal government uses EV for Federal contractors. In the State of Texas, EV is only proposed for State cntractor and not every business in the state will use EV.
CA., AZ, and others are writing laws on how EV will be used their states.
If States want the Federal Government to fund EV, they will have to allow the Fed to mandate the terms in which they can use E verify.

Why do you keep repeating yourself over and over when I have told you at least twice now that H-2A visas for farm workers are unlimited. So how are we going to starve without illegals picking our food when we can use legal immigrants instead?
