More than 20 students from the Berkeley public schools, UC Berkeley and San Francisco State University along with members of the Berkeley Organizing Congregations for Action boarded the bus from St. Joseph The Worker Church at 10:30 a.m., after waving good-bye to their families, many of them undocumented workers in Berkeley.
The group’s first stop is Senator Barbara Boxer’s office in San Francisco, after which they will stop in Nevada, where they are expected to meet with Senator Harry Reed.
Thousands of people are expected to gather in the capital Sunday in support of immigration rights.
“I want to get my papers so that I can go to field trips and have fun like my friends,” she said. “I don’t get to go anywhere, and I would like to go on these trips.”

Oh give me a break! So now illegal alien children are prohibited from participating in school excursions? They even have the kids lying.

Isn’t that interesting? She can’t take a school trip to the zoo, but she CAN take a trip across the country to DC. Do they actually believe we are that stupid? |

Nothing makes me want to hurl more than people who pimp out their own kids for a "cause".
Reminds me of that poor kid "balloon boy" and his idiot Parents. Oh speaking of, she is illegal too.

These are likely the same students that march and block the freeways and streets complaining that there is "No Money For Education"...
I love how they seem to love to put the kids on the front lines..

Brain washing students..........Obama himself was at my daughters school a few weeks ago to discuss health care. They are targeting the students who have been raised with a much more liberal view then their parents. Maybe when these students start paying their own bills they will understand the frustration of paying for others who aren't supposed to even be here.

That’s how the disingenuous operate. They have even instructed DREAMies to send baby pictures of themselves to President Obama and members of Congress. Clearly, this strategy is intended to tug at their heartstrings. Who would want to deport these poor innocent “babies?” Of course, they are no longer babies, but their adult pictures would elicit far less compassion. |
