California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is usually a kinder, gentler Republican when it comes to immigrants. So what a shame that Schwarzenegger would, in his recent State of the State address, spread a familiar half-truth about the economics of illegal immigration by stressing the costs while ignoring the benefits.
This isn’t the Arnold we knew.
Now, Schwarzenegger is singing a different tune and implying that illegal immigrants are a drain on California.

No, but it sounds more like the one we elected, or thought we did. He was supposed to get us out of the hole Gray Davis dug for us. It just amazes me it's taken him so long to see illegal immigration as part of the problem, when the average citizen has known that for some time.
Schwarzewneggar is a total JOKE.After defending Illegals for years.Now that he realizes that the legacy he will leave as a Calif. Governor is an extemely negative one,NOW he speaks the truth while burdening the Sates citizens with this.Is it any wonder that the San Diego piece was written by someone with a spanish surname.WHAT A SHOCKER!!!Always trying to take care of their own at every other race's expense.Schwarzeneggar wants to install more redlight cameras,ticket more speeders and has raised the amount on traffic citations in his on going war on California's hard working citizens to pay for his leadership failures,while his overprivledged wife has been filmed breaking the the very laws he whines about(talking on the cellphone while driving,parking in a no parking zone).
Gov. Hypocrite will be gone by the end of the year,instead of asking the Feds for almost 900 million to cover the costs of incarcerated Illegals,who broke the law coming here and broke even more laws to end up in jail and prison,wht didn't this moron deport these criminals years ago?

Hopefully not,The State's Democrats have recently put in LA Mayor's Gay,Pro-Illegal cousin in as State speaker.Isn't this how they do politics in corrupt countries like Mexico?The only people fit fot office are friends and relatives of existing politicians?This is Nepotism at it's worst.Seems like Villaraigosa and the Cal Democratic party are trying to cover all it's liberal bases.With the State's numerous Sanctuary Cities Santa Ana,Huntington Park Etc...It's going to be interesting.
I don't think he has changed his tune. Mexicans have resented Schwarzenegger since he got into politics, saying he is hypocritical for being anti-immigration, yet he is an immigrant himself.
