According to Federal law, applicants for marriage licenses shall provide a SSN. Illegal aliens have filed a class action lawsuit against a Michigan clerk who refused to ignore the law by issuing a license.
I am always astonished at illegals who claim to fear detection, yet have no qualms about filing a lawsuit. Two of the plaintiffs are using the pseudonyms Juan and Maria Doe.

Because in Mexico some laws are seen as suggestions not to be taken seriously especially if they make no sense. Call it a culture clash. Very frustrating for us rule of law obsessed Americans. |

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be surprised if they rule in favor of the illegals. After the Supreme Court ruling regarding ID theft, anything is possible. |

"This is contrary to the constitution of the United States and Michigan and discriminatory in that it has an effect of discriminating against a large group of the Hispanic community in Kent County," said Robert Alvarez, and attorney from Wyoming whose firm has partnered with a Southfield law office.
Gee Mr. Alvarez, whose interests are you representing? This is America, not "Hispania".
Mr. Alvarez needs to be tried for knowingly aiding and abetting fugitive criminals.
