I'm not surprised, and this should minimize the issue as a potential vulnerability for Hillary.

Just for the record, although this might help the Senator, Spitzer makes his own decisions, and listened to the folks Upstate.

Lou Dobbs will be very happy! Though he will miss talking about the poor Governor.

I'm sure Lou will have a big smile when he talks about Prince Elliott's giving up the idea. I've also heard there are rumblings of a recall of the prince.

You have to remember it's all a political game. Every press conference, every news release. It doesn't matter if the legislation passes or if it's even written.

The governor and Hillary have both sided with illegals on the DL issue that's all that matters at the polls. Whether legislation actually passes or not doesn't really matter to them politically.

"Poor Governor," Goodtype . . . I hope you're joking?

If not such a serious topic, your comment would be downright hilarious.

I believe the correct term should be . . . TRAITOR GOVERNOR as he was directly violating the will of the voters.

I see it just the opposite. I think it maximizes exposure to Hillary's support of illegals! The Gov may have dropped this issue, but we the voters know where she stands. Give 'em a license to drive...and what else for illegals if she becomes President? Scary.....
