So... you actually think the next logical step is that Arizona is going to start carting illegal immigrants off to death camps where they'll be exterminated?
Heck, Arizona kills its own, never mind anyone else.
If the law makes it hard for illegals it is a step in the right direction. If The Fed would do their jobs then states would have no need to pass new laws.

Not if it requires unlawful detainment of American citizens.
Entering into everyones house in the country, could deter terrorist attacks as well, but that wouldn't be right, now would it.

apples to oranges.
This law is about going after people who have broken a law. Its not a bad law, it could use some fine tuning, but its a start. Don't like states taking it upon themselves? Blame the Fed for not doing their job.

So would a law that says law enforcement could enter anyones house, to look for bomb making materials.
That kind of law would also go after those who are breaking the law.
It is a bad law, poorly worded, and giving way to much power to law enforcement.

Blame the fed. Had they done their jobs. If they would even start doibg their job then states wouldn't be writing such laws.
Further more blame the facilitators.
Until the Fed starts owning up to border security then I'm all for states doing what they need to do to prevent/stop/mitigate the mass migrations from Mexico.

Still doesn't give Arizona the right to pass unconstitutional laws.
To quote my grandmother, and many other people around the world, "Two wrongs do not make a right"

Is it unconstitutional? That has not been demonstrated as yet.
Your Grand mother is right. 2 wrongs don't make a right.
1. The fed doing nothing.
2. The Hispanic community not standing up against illegal immigration.
In fact the argument can be made that at the very least the hispanic community especially in border states has been a silent partner.
