"...at least allow safe passage to California." - from the lone comment added to this article. Disturbing, as I am a resident of CA and we are already teeming with illegals.

Default Shoo! Shoo!

You bet. I'd personally love to see a point-by-point listing of exactly which aspects, what actual legal actions or provisions, the protesters are so hot about. Being asked to prove your legal right to be here when about 1 in 4 or 5 there are illegal. Even if they crept in 20 years ago, they are still illegal now.

Is it those conditions in AZ that have now mandated this somewhat drastic action? That the long-time failings of the Feds to control illegal (let me re-post that word with the proper emphasis...: ILLEGAL) immigation has resulted in our country being overrun with criminal transients who steal from our tax dollar-funds to feed and breed, to then uses our generous hospitals to birth out young who have no ethical rights to be instant citizens, and who tax our penal & judicial systems, and steal jobs from our unemployed?

And why did the Feds fail exactly? Well of course it's to the advantage of the Democrat Party to create a voter base who feel beholden to them, and tose who benefit directly from a social safety net and free food, medical care and housing are the best bet. Unfortunately for them, we payers can no longer afford such largess. So out they go!

The state simply took matters into their own hands, and I understand that the Hispanic hordes in Arizona are now, officially, looking over their shoulders and even heading back home. Where they belong.

Home Sweet Home. Bye now!

I know...right?

I'm moving back soon--guess I'll be going from a nearly illegal free environment back into the scofflaw masses.

Hiya rifleman!

How can the State of California even continue to put people in jails for ANY crimes committed when they have already stated that they are ok with illegals coming into their State. If the State of California is willing to embrace ILLEGAL aliens, then they have to be willing to embrace all law breakers. If I lived in Cali, I sure as hell would be leaving

Hey Kele... howz it going? Been busy I'll bet! Anyhow, why is it that you're going to torture yourself by going back to CA? You know what it's like out there, and whenever I visit (we left in '97) I can't help but cringe at the visible masses of people that the state intends to support no matter what their status.

Free driver's licenses without proof of citizenship, free meds, free birthing, free...free..... for heaven's sake!

Well, of course it gets the socialists re-elected, which is the basic rationale for all of this, isn't it? Trouble will be when we working class types won't or can't cough up any more free funds. These types already go on demonstration marches when the talk of cutting back of Social Services is even run up an imaginary flag pole.

Can you imagine what happens when several tens of millions of illegal Californians, Arizonans, Texans and New Mexicans are all cut off from my tax dollars? Best we just open the gates and let them run back home. If that country will have them back, which is potentially debatable....

Sheesh... what a mess this country has created. So now we've just got to get tough. And mow our own lawns in the future.... (prob'ly with a non-poluting push mower. Hey; that's what I used when I was a teenager!)

They knew after the poll it would not be voted for favorably. Hope they finally start getting the message that they do not want illegal aliens there and are doing everything possible to make them leave. Sorry Don'tH8tMe...maybe California will see the light too.
