Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse! I never voted for this man he has been bad news since he was elected.
Our first problem is the politicians who pander to a group of sympathizers and criminals who have zero regard for American laws and the voting public.
It's time to recall these jokers!

Our immigration system is broken because 20,000,000+ illegals invaded our country. Why do they keep saying it's broken? Immigration laws are only enforced at the AIRPORT. If the laws were enforced where we need them (the gaping holes in our border) we wouldn't have 20,000,000+ here illegally.
There are so many things wrong with the City of L.A. and the State of California and it all goes back to not enough money. Cutting services left and right won't make this problem go away. This state is bankrupt. You don't have to wonder why.

I think the topic thread should read:
L.A. Mayor Villaraigosa AUDIO: "Illegals contribute to the economic plight of this state"
He must have made a mistake

Villaraigosa is an embarrassment to the City.He can't effectively balance the City's budget because he's in the pockets of the Labor Unions, his cousin Perez is Speaker for the Dems, instead of rebutting the Governor's new budget he's out playing golf.Between Villaraigosa's extra marital affairs and mis management of the City's finances he finds plenty of time to criticize Arizona instead of doing his own job.He once contemplted a Governor's run now he will probably have trouble being re elected Mayor in the future.

L.A. City Council scrambles to avoid layoffs proposed in Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's budget - latimes.com L.A.'s City Council scrambles to avoid layoffs another Villaraigosa success story.Villaraigosa is a Pro La Raza, former ACLU rep/leader,Chicano Activist whose loyalties and heart lies with His Illegal Alien brethren.LA has had Tom Bradley(Black),Riordan(White) and Police Chiefs Bernard Parks and Williams(Both Black).that have served the City of LA ,all it's constituents. Not Tony V. he has shown a marked preference for his own race.
This guy loves all media attention.Bernard Parks has warned him several times that his Budget estimates won't work.Villaraigosa will never admit that the City is wasting millions on Illegals because that is where his loyalties lie.Just wait till Arizona's Illegals pour into LA then the fun really starts.

Can't expect anything other than that from a reconquista, Latino politician, can we? L.A. and its suburbs probably have more illegal aliens than any other cities in this country.

Illegals contribute a lot to the state of Ca, they help the population increase, they add to the welfare rolls and they even do jobs that right now, many citizens would love to have. Oh, and they help keep the emergancy rooms busy, casue they know where to get free medical care. How did this guy ever get elected?

He got elected because he was the first latino to be thought of as a viable candidate.
His campaign organization approached all latino businesses and splinter groups, as well as the well organized ones, and in turn they got out the vote campaigns throughout the latino commuity.
This next time around, he won't have the votes from the non-hispanic population, but there may be enough of the latino vote to assure him another term.
I think it may hinge on the gubernatorial candidate that is elected.
If it turns out an anti immigration governor takes overt the state house, there won't be a latino in the state that could win an election.
Bob.
