Now how to keep the scum criminals from returning through our porous borders is another issue. They slip in and out of the criminal justice system just the same as do our legal criminals. These are not new issues.

Immigration agents target area jails (http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local_news/Immigration_agents_target_area_jails.html - broken link)

Pitts said identifying criminal immigrants who are in the country illegally has become a national security priority because of fears that they will be released to commit more crimes.

An example is now raging in Houston, where the accused shooter of a police officer was identified this week as a Salvadoran in the country illegally. Houston’s mayor was enraged that he had slipped in and out of the criminal justice system without being deported.

This is good. Nobody wants illegals who are here committing crimes. Hopefully they are turned over to police officials in their home countries so they can jailed there instead of just released on the people there.

"Houston’s mayor was enraged that he had slipped in and out of the criminal justice system without being deported."

The problem with Mayor Bill White is that overall he supports illegals.

Some years ago, the INS (ancestor of ICE) had an agent premanently assigned to duty in the City Jail in Anaheim (California). Apparently there was enough 'work' there to justify the position. After a year or more of INTENSE opposition and relentless editorials, and charges that this was 'intimidating, offensive, insulting, and divisive to the community', the position was phased out. Apparently, it was TOO effective, and caused too much 'discomfort'. (No, I don't THINK it was phased out due to 'lack of work')....

Your enemies are the corporate criminals who hire undocumented workers, no questions asked. This practice is rampant. They are also serving to take the pressure off our neighboring nation to the south, who, if they were forced to deal with their own citizens' problems instead of exporting them, would be overthrown in a heartbeat.
Please recognize your enemies for who they are, don't let the kleptocrats play the old divide and conquer with you and your working neighbors.

You're right, but to expound, the government is also our enemy. I say that as someone who wants to believe in this nation and have respect for the leadership, but they have given us NO reason whatsoever to have belief or respect in who they are and what they do.

The blame goes to corporate and wealthy America, the government, the demand for drugs by users and sellers, AND the bleeding heart, do-gooder liberals who've advocated "tolerance" and political correctness since the Woodstock era.

I assume you mean by "working neighbors" you mean illegal aliens? The employers, our government and the illegal aliens themselves are equally guilty.
