Yes, but its hard to get a contingency lawyer to represent you. I only found one such lawsuit with Google, and I don't know what happened with it. I am currently working on exposing a rich man who hires many illegals and who is the sole owner of a large business that is the sole supplier to all 3800 Walmart stores of all books, music CD's and DVD's they sell. He is on the Board of Directors of the University of Tennessee, and well as the Country Music Association.
Sounds like you may have read the book, "Modern Bounty Hunter," which should have been called, "Reward Hunter."
Based on this book, I spent several thousand dollars investigating a Nigerian organized crime ring which went after millions of dollars in fungible commodities through fraudulent purchase orders. The FBI wouldn't give me the time of day, although several US Attorneys said they were interested. Apparently the FBI trumps the US Attorney. I guess they don't like to be overshadowed by rank civilians. I called the US Attorneys on the phone, but you apparently can't talk to them in person without an attorney.
So much for my reward hunting days.
