For me my COMED bill is about $60 from October - May then doubles to about $120 a month June - Sept., but I do use my A/C quite a bit as I can't open the windows at night thanks to constant motorcycles racing up and down La Grange Road till about 2 AM (apparently the one with the noisiest muffler wins or something???) , barking dogs (guess the neighbors figure they will share the wealth with everyone since they have to hear their dogs then they may as well make everyone else hear them???), cars with mufflers that make the car sound like a bad grass trimmer (apparently that's cool or something, guess I didn't get the memo on that), etc going on till about 2 AM nightly by me otherwise I'd open the windows especially since it has been so nice out.

Well, be careful what Neons you make fun of. The base Neons with fart cans are weak, and no worse than a Civic DX with a giant wing on the back. But if the Neon has a SRT-4 badge on the back, stand back, those are fast little snots, easily able to hang with Camaros and Mustangs for the most part.

Well, after a week of absolutely perfect temps and low humidity, we're right back in the swampy humidity garbage again. Im about to pack up and escape to the cold, dry Rockies.

It was 94 at 1:30 PM in Tinley Park off 183rd and Harlem yesterday (7/7) so the SW burbs weren't far behind.

Reached 92 here, still very humid, too. Got some rain, followed by sunshine... you can imagine how humid that felt. The daggone roads were steaming.
