Manufacturing firms are still fleeing Illinois faster than jobs can be created and the business climate is the main reason. Every single level of government has out-of-control spending and their only solution to a decreasing tax base is to soak those remaining until they, too, decide to leave. The death spiral is in full swing.


"Illinois businesses pay the eighth-highest workers' compensation costs in the country and the highest in the Midwest, and among the highest property taxes in the United States. Illinois' five public pension systems are underfunded by more than $130 billion, worst in the nation."

Madigan is in control no matter who gets elected Governor. Rauner vetoed the income tax hike and Madigan and his cronies overrode it. What we need is to get rid of Madigan, not Rauner!
