"Extreme low" is a manner of opinion, although if you're talking about Detroit, you're probably right.

You can post your house for sale in the "classifieds" section of the board

Default I Agree With Mdz

Well, I have to ask what you consider as 'extreme low' in the price of any house? In my own opinion, $23K would be extreme low and that would be impossible to find. Even if you found a burned out shell, the land would probably be worth at least $130K. All Chicago area land is relative and it is subject to interpretation. Do you want to live next to Chicago gang bangers and perhaps lose your children to daily gang gunfire? If so, then live in Maywood. Do you want to live in beautiful St. Charles, Geneva or perhaps Wheaton or Batavia? Then you will have to expect to pay the going prices for your single familly home. Someone before you has already found the 'dream' homes, land and suburban towns. So as they move out, they won't give their homes away. They will want to realize their home values including their equity. I enjoy helping people so please ask more questions if you wish.

Best Regards,

Carter Glass
