Peoria is beautiful out today! It is still a little chilly, but far better than what we have been having. This week began with a nasty ice/snow storm, but is ending on some cool spring weather. It was just snowing not even 24 hours ago!! Leap year, go figure. I just hope it doesn't tempt us this weekend, and then after Sunday have a repeat of last Monday. How I long for spring.....

I just drove by Lake Geneva....there was what looked like a fleet of cars, a town of ice fishermen AND an airplane on the lake....might as well go back to sleep for a few months or keep driving south each weekend!

The airplane just really rubbed it in....

Was over 70 in parts of IL today. I thought this afternoon was pretty decent. Sunny, beautiful skies, not too windy (until late tonight).

yeah, not the parts we live in, though the drive to get the 70's is getting shorter and less expensive!

Just snapped this pic about 5 minutes ago of the beautiful sunset. Sorry the pic isnt the greatest, it was taken with my crappy work camera.

Partly sunny this morning, 32 degrees and blustery. Looked cloudy to the SE this morning, are those the clouds bringing the flurries? Some say we're not gonna get snow, some say we'll get a dusting.

Sunny out, less wind, but colder. Looks to be around 28 degrees right now according to Wunderground. Here is a sunset pic I just took from tonight, not too shabby.
