String cheese is usually mozzarella or mild cheddar; both are perfectly healthy, natural cheeses. So why the age limit? I usually take it to eat as a snack at work. I bite into it, eating it like a pretzel stick or a Slim Jim.

First I peel off some strings, then I take bites later on. Best of both worlds.

Not so!! I'm diabetic and string cheese is a safe and very tasty snack for me at 70+ years old.

Playing with your food is for kids. Plus, eating little stringy bits doesn't send your brain a message that you've eaten something satisfying. You just want to eat more.

I'm in my 40s. I peel it and dip it in ketchup. My kid just peels it.

I hate people who try to tell others what they should and should not eat. Very un-american

My family's vegan. We never had the stuff in the house when I was growing up; I wouldn't even know how to eat it.
