Has anyone been to Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington? Just wondering what you thought of it. I have a couple of young kids. I do not like Glen Oak Zoo at all. I love the St. Louis zoo, and I know its not going to be on that level. Is it worth the trip? The childrens museum is around the same price and we really enjoy that. How is the zoo in comparison for value?

Good to know. How big is it? I might try to visit there sometime the next time I visit my relatives who live in Normal.

The zoo is really small. We just spent less than 2 hours there. They had some neat animals and displays that really made it enjoyable. We also enjoyed the park across the street. They were building a lot of new playground stuff as well, and all of the kids playing were very friendly.

The zoo is VERY small but it's NOT busy and was perfect for my 2 year old. She enjoyed being able to walk and enjoy it without being ran over. Try to be there for feeding time for the sea lions, that's a lot of fun. Cheap and a nice relaxing day.

HUGE playground is being built across the parking lot.
