Yeah, because the weather in Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin (the #1, #2, & #3 destinations for those migrating from Illinois, respectively) is so different. :eyeroll:

I am sure there are some people making the move because of the weather and maybe a lot are leaving partly because of the weather.. but taxes is the main reason by a huge margin

Well that was one of the reasons my father decided to relocate his family, though it was more due to rising cost of living in Chicago and that was back in 2005; I really do miss the city though, it’s much better than Houston.
