While we're at it, we should split off some land for the migrants as well. Call it New Venezuela. What a joke.

Reading about the Prairie Band reclaiming their ancestral land in Illinois is truly inspiring. It reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend who's deeply connected to their indigenous roots. They often talk about the importance of land sovereignty and the struggles their community faces. This feels like a significant step towards justice and recognition.

In a news release, the nation says that means that Illinois is once again home to a federally recognized Native American Tribal Nation.

The U.S. government illegally auctioned off 1,280 acres of reservation land in DeKalb County while Chief Shab-eh-nay was away and visiting family in Kansas in the 1800s."

Seems like the Chief Shabbona forest preserve is now sovereign nation.
Just what we don't need is another gambling casino. Rosemont was going to have a "riverboat casino"
