U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and the Illinois Democratic party establishment as well as some Republicans have formally asked Pres. Bush to pardon George Ryan as well as pleaded in the press for his pardon. Please vote and post your thoughts as well.

lol, I voted for McDonald's, but in all honesty he should be assasinated, getting pardoned for George Ryan is getting off too easy. Just my two cents.

Default NO,no,No,nO

Even though with the right fake beard he would make a great dept. store Santa, I say keep him in orange.

Ryan's crime had a body count associated with it. He tried to use his political muscle to derail the investigation. The term "hubris" comes to mind.

Any politician that calls for Ryan's early release is showing contempt for the Illinois voters.

Illinois politics is all screwed up! Aren't Durbin and Ryan supposed to be on different sides or something?

I so deeply regret voting for Durbin in the last election. I thought that he was a relatively clean politician, but this Ryan business speaks for itself - he's just another member of the Springfield combine.

It was so nice to read in the paper that Mr Ryan regrets nothing about his behavior and has a clear conscience.

Maybe Mrs. Ryan is giving him some action on the side? Durbin claims he is doing this because she is such a good friend to Mr. Durbin and nice person. To crib a saying from Lookout Kid-I kid I kid!!!

If he gets pardoned the jurors on his trial would have done more time than him. Jerk.
