Just wondering how many people have ever had much to do with their local state representatives or state senators? With the election on Feb. 2 all of the political info is starting to come in the mail! Please share your experiences. thanks

I've had a lot of dealings with my state senator. He keeps asking for campaign money and I keep saying no.

I don't dislike the rep & State Senator I have, but I find that they are very much complicit in "spending money that the State does not have". From "grants" that allegedly help pay for design work to "assisting" in getting Federal or State matching dollars it strikes me that the pols make "promises" to the various local officials that end up driving US deeper into debt...

I met my representative for 5 mins (she was running to another meeting) she was nice but I didn't really get to learn much about her
