How can you save your medical insurance from global recession? Do you have any idea where to get the cheapest car and health insurance in Illinois? Can anyone can help me with this? I just got back to my hometown in 12 years.

Go to your Farm Bureau. You do not have to be a farmer to get car insurance.

For the health insurance question...Get a high deductible plan with a HSA.
On buying a car. Check with nursing homes to see if a senior citizen has one for sale or look for any motivated seller. Stay away from dealerships.

I have a trusted dealer that sells and cares for our cars. He's been doing it 30+ years. The trouble with buying from an individual is this: I do not believe you are protected under the Illinois Lemon Law if you buy from an individual, but you do have recourse if you buy from a dealer.

A friend of mine fell in love with a truck that was the personal vehicle of a car dealer's son. It had over 100,000 miles on it. Friend bought it because he knew the dealer. Within 24 hours after purchase, the truck developed a fuel pump problem that cost my friend $350 to replace.
