Hear Hamilton county having a grand ole time with machine problems countywide. All polling locations should be uniform throughout the state. Johnson County you can vote at any polling location as they no longer pull out those massive voter rolls, find your name on some list and then cross you off. Walked up, showed ID, they pulled up your info on the computer gave you a print out to give to the voting judge who then activated the booth specific to you (local voting). Fastest I've ever been through (once you get to the front) to vote. The Church I voted at has a Cafe (Really!) and plus they were giving out complimentary sodas, water and lattes so easy going experience as I was there for 50 minutes.

Wow msam! I hope my D is able to vote without too much hassle up there.

I've spent several hours recently reviewing information on local elections and candidates. I've written my selections for County offices and the school board down. I hope I can take my "cheat sheet" with me. I've never tried it before.

I'll wait until mid-morning to vote and hope it's not too busy.

I was just thinking this morning, if the IndyStar has the technology to let me enter my address and it can pull up exactly what will show up on my ballot, why does the state not have this technology so that I could go to any polling location? I passed 4 polling sites in Carmel on the way in to work and while there were a lot of people, none of them had lines out the door so things seemed to be going smoothly. I'll be going after work so hopefully all the kinks will be worked out. I heard Hamilton Southeastern High School was one place with problems but fortunately I vote elsewhere in Fishers and haven't heard of problems with my polling place.

Sounds like the problems in Hamilton County have been resolved.

Yep, the voting machines were down for a good 20-30 minutes in Hamilton county and I had to wait 2 hours to vote today... I was there right at 6:00 AM as well... Long line, long time and I loved every minute of it. Just go vote, waiting 2 hours to vote is a small price to pay for a democratic system and having your voice heard.

Getting ready to vote after work, so about an hour from now. We'll see if there's a last second rush of people. My wife took 45 minutes in Fishers this morning. My mom took almost 2 hours in another location in Fishers at noon, though she said the line was barely half as long when she got done than it was when she got in it. Must have been a rush of people thought they'd get it done at lunchtime.

Voted in Zionsville this morning at 6:30. Waited about 30-40 minutes, so not too bad.
